Github actions are free up to about 2000 in private repos and no logic limitations
Create a yaml file for the actions, similar to azure pipelines or gitlab-ci
Use actions as an automation platform
Git scraping. Track changes to the data overtime
Languages used by file size . Can use actions to create dynamic readme elements (worth looking at for the testing suite)
Home automation by hooking into IoT APIs, such as turning on a light when a build fails
Tips
Set timeout minutes in an action so that it doesnt burn through billable hours
Use concurrency to avoid multiple actions running at the same time If you merge two changes that get deployed nearly at the same time, you might have a race condition where the older version ends up overwriting the newest version
